
Slice a 250g block of halloumi cheese in half lengthwise, and then cut into small pieces to make around 25-30 pieces.
Cut 14 rashers of streaky bacon (around 250g) in half and wrap each piece around the halloumi blocks.
Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in the oven at 190 °C for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, mix together 1 tbsp wholegrain mustard with 2 tbsp maple syrup.
Baste the halloumi pieces with the glaze and return to the oven until sticky and golden (5-10 minutes). Serve while still warm.
Makes 28 pieces.
