
When strawberries are at their best, keep things simple and let the fruit be the star of the show.
In a small bowl (for an individual serving) place a large handful of ripe strawberries, hulled and sliced in two. Drizzle a little Amaretto liqueur over the berries. Add a good dollup of thick jersey cream (creme fraiche or Greek yogurt will do), add 1 tbs of passion fruit jam, and sprinkle with 2 amaretti biscuits, crushed.
Serves 1.
