
In a small glass bowl whisk together 2 tbs hoisin sauce, 1 tbs chunky peanut butter, and 2 tbs mirin. Microwave for around 45 seconds. Whisk in 1 tsp sesame oil.
Serve alongside some fresh, firm tofu which has been deep-fried in rapeseed oil and then cut into bite-sized cubes (the Japan Centre in London has them ready-made, which you can just crisp up in a dry, hot pan).
